Illuminated Carmel Cottage
Extensive home remodel in the Hatton Fields, where we maintained the original architecture yet introduced some more interesting features to bring the home up to what 2020 innovation has to offer.
We added a master bathroom to the building which has heated concrete floors and concrete walls to give it an industrial vibe. All fixtures are polished chrome throughout the home to provide some juxtaposition between industrial and traditional interior design.
The kitchen has an updated full overlay cabinetry system and concrete countertops that were designed by Ryan McNickle and custom built by our carpenters at McNickle Construction. The flooring is a wide plank hickory with a rich ember finish to provide warmth to the home. All tile has an elegant yet industrial feel which helps create a very fun environment.
The interior design of the home was imagined by the home owner which is what we enjoy doing at McNickle Construction. It is our goal to transform your vision into our reality.
